Aliphatic PUR Cable
1. Simple Distinction (Key Points)
• Common aromatic PUR: Inexpensive, wear-resistant and oil-resistant, but vulnerable to ultraviolet rays. It will definitely turn yellow, powderize and crack after long-term outdoor exposure. It is only suitable for indoor use
• Aliphatic PUR: Free of benzene rings, UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and yellowing resistant, suitable for long-term outdoor use; It retains all the advantages of PUR, such as wear resistance, oil resistance and bending resistance, but at a higher cost
✅ Core performance
Weather-resistant and UV-resistant, not prone to yellowing (the biggest selling point)
The sheath is not prone to yellowing or becoming brittle under wind and sun exposure. It is the first choice for outdoor and open-air equipment
2. Ultra-high wear resistance and tear resistance
It is not easy to break the skin after repeated dragging and rubbing, and is scratch-resistant
3. Excellent resistance to mineral oil, cutting fluid, weak acids and alkalis
It is not easy to swell after long-term immersion in machine tools and oily working conditions
4. Low-temperature resistance: Remains soft and does not crack at -40 ℃, suitable for outdoor use in the north and cold equipment
5. Resistant to hydrolysis and microorganisms, with a longer lifespan in humid environments
6. UL AWM certification is available for wiring of equipment exported to North America
Temperature reference: Mobile use – 40℃ to +90/100℃
aliphatic PUR VS aromatic PUR
Project Aliphatic PUR Common Aromatic PUR
Uv-resistant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐
Anti-yellowing: No yellowing for a long time, but obvious yellowing occurs after 3 to 6 months
Excellent wear resistance and oil resistance
Outdoor use ✅ suitable for long-term outdoor use ❌ only for indoor use
The price is relatively high but the cost performance is excellent
