CL2 and CL3 are widely-adopted low-voltage signal control cables for North-American projects. CL2 is rated 150V, commonly applied to access control systems, thermostat sensors and security alarm signal loops. CL3 features a higher 300V voltage rating with enhanced pressure resistance, ideal for fire-alarm systems, building automation and industrial equipment signal transmission.
Suffix letters stand for different flame-retardant installation grades. Standard CL2/CL3 is designed for concealed in-wall wiring. CL2P and CL3P are plenum-rated cables with low-smoke high-flame-retardant performance for air-handling ceiling plenum spaces. CL2R and CL3R are riser-rated, restricting vertical flame spread for building shaft wiring.
All series are manufactured in accordance with UL standards; complete certification documents are available. Custom options such as conductor size and jacket color are supported.
